GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS

Cleaning the Chlorinated Salt Cells

  1. Turn off the pump, filter and salt chlorinator.
  2. Remove the salt chlorinator cell.
  3. For best results, wash or rinse the hive with clean warm water.
  4. Completely submerge the cell in a clean plastic container containing Salt Cell Cleaner.
  5. Leave for 10-15 minutes or until the cell looks clear.
  6. Rinse thoroughly with fresh water and reassemble the chlorinator.
  7. While Salt Cell Cleaner can be reused, a solution is recommended for best results.

Cleaning Pool Covers & Pool Enclosures With Grills

  1. Using a clean plastic bucket carefully dilute at the following rates:
    • For heavy scale deposits, use 1 part product to 5 parts water.
    • For light scale deposits, 1 part product to 10 parts water.
  2. Apply the resulting solution to the cover with a suitable brush, ensuring maximum coverage of the affected areas.
  3. Leave the product on the cover for a maximum of 15 minutes. Older scale deposits may require further brushing.
  4. After 15 minutes rinse/rinse the treated area thoroughly with water.

Caution: The product is acidic, so always check the pool water balance after treatment and adjust if necessary. Any other acid-sensitive pool fabrics such as marble, chrome, stainless steel, aluminum and enamel should be covered during the above application, cleaning and rinsing phases. This will protect them from any splashes that may occur.

If you operate your system in a hard water area then we recommend using No More Scale in conjunction with Salt Cell Cleaner.
