Leak Sealer

Leak Sealer is specially designed to seal small leaks in swimming pools when the water loss does not exceed 2.5cm per day in 60 cubic meters of water. Not recommended for sealing worn liner surfaces.

GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS

Note: Leak Sealer should not be used when the pool water temperature is below 6 degrees Celsius (°C).

1. Turn off the pool pump. Remove any autobots from the pool.
2. Set the filter to the BY-PASS or RECIRCULATE setting. If none of these settings are available, then remove the Filter Cartridge prior to treatment. Note: Leak Sealer can block jets. If the jets cannot be removed prior to use, then do not use this product.
3. Leak Sealer should be added at 1 liter per 60,000 cubic meters of water. There are two methods of applying Leak Sealer depending on the location of the leak.
   (A) LEAK ON POOL SURFACE: If possible, locate the area of the leak and add the product to that area. Otherwise, distribute the product evenly around the pool. (B) LEAK ON PIPE: Add the correct dose into the skimmer. Place a suction pipe at the deepest point of the pool.
   Check that the suction tube is free of air before application.
4. If you are unsure of the location of the leak, use method (B) above.
5. Wait 30 minutes and then turn on the pump. Leave the pump running for at least 8 hours.
6. Note the water level and check in 24 hours.
7. Allow all residue to settle (within 6 hours) and then wipe away.
8. In larger pools or if water loss has decreased, a second application may be required.
