Description
Starver®X is a safe, high-performance product for removing phosphates from swimming pools. It is designed to remove phosphates in high concentrations. One liter of Starver®X removes over 6000 ppb (6ppm) of phosphates in a 50 cubic meter pool. Its use greatly reduces the consumption of disinfectant and contributes to the clarity of the pool water.
GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS
If algae is present, it is recommended that you first treat this algae with one of the Lo-Chlor algaecides before beginning phosphate removal.
- Clean or flush the filter and make sure the pool water is balanced.
- Shake the container well before use.
- Slowly add the required amount of Starver® X to the pool water just in front of the removal box entrance.
- It is recommended that immediately after adding Starver® X, you place a Lo-Chlor Miraclear Clarifier Pool Cube directly into the pump basket (follow package directions). Adding a Miraclear Pool Clarifier Cube will reduce any turbidity associated with phosphate removal.
- Run the filtration system continuously for 24 hours. Check the filter pressure regularly and, if necessary, flush the filter.
- Check the phosphate level in the pool water at least 24 hours after treatment.
- If necessary, repeat additional doses at weekly intervals until the phosphate level is within the acceptable range. For faster results, the dosage of Starver® X can be repeated every 24 hours.
After treatment check the phosphate levels in your pool regularly. For continuous phosphate control and treatment use Lo-Chlor Starver®.
